I've been playing every Sega Saturn light gun game... Not counting policenauts which only has light gun segments.

The best are:
The House of the Dead.
Then Virtua Cop 2.
Then Virtua Cop.

The worst are:
Area 51.
Maximum Force.

The simply average are:
Death Crimson.
Die Hard Trilogy light gun section.
Scud: The disposable Assassin.
Mechanical Violator Hakaider.

The surprisingly better than expected:
Chaos Control Remix. I think I love this game. I love that you don't have to reload you just have to watch your gun doesn't overheat, and you don't have 3-hits before a continue, it's just a health bar that slowly drains with hits. There's just so much shit to shoot and it looks quite pretty as well. Coming back for more 2 player of this game.

Surprisingly good despite looking like a SNES game:
Crypt Killer. This one was actually quite good and I'll play a lot more, you just have to sit as far back from the TV as your virtua guns cable will allow and squint. There's a lot more to see and assuming I don't play through house of the dead for the 10th time, I'll play a lot more of this.

It's good, but you should play Point Blank instead:
Mighty Hits. This game was a bit of a hoot, but with the virtua guns slightly less accurate aiming than the Namco Guncon on PS1, hitting 1cm targets on a 61-68cm TV is a little bit hit and miss... See Sega understood their technology to absolute perfection and made perfect games that worked perfectly with it and it's limitations, which is why their games hold up better than all the light gun games ever made by anyone else. It's a party style, minigame type of shooter, like a poor man's point blank. And if you're familiar enough with the limitations of the Virtua Gun, it's fun, but if you're new (or back after a long time playing with Namco games) you're gonna have a bad time.

Light gun games remain the only reason I keep CRT TV's around, and I only have to go through the NES (BECAUSE who played anything other than duck hunt?) and the few stragglers that came after the light gun genre was dieing out (time crisis 4 and House of the dead 4)

Since CRT's and light gun games are all but extinct, I'm aiming to enjoy as many as I can now...

Next I'm gonna play every Nintendo 64 racing game, even though I already know the single best and worst lol.
If I should Die Hard Arcade before I Alan Wake.
PREY the Lords of Lore my Soul Calibur to Take
-Two Interactive.

That voice acting is still better than Chris Pratt’s Mario.

That video infuriates me. He spends 2/3 the video unboxing the thing while bragging about his collection, then ends with him showing off old games he bought. Doesn’t hook it up, doesn’t show us how it works, doesn’t show us any gameplay…just ‘hey look at this holy grail I bought it’s so awesome, now I’m going to put it away and show you my copy of Jurrassic Park!’

I have such irrational nostalgia for Knuckles Chaotix. We bought a 32X on deep clearance and got three games (Chaotix, Star Wars Arcade, and Virtua Racer Deluxe). I played this back in the day and the visuals and audio were so good. It's still a top 25 all-time soundtrack for me:

The gameplay was such dogshit though. It was frustrating back then, it's depressing now. There was so much promise for Sega at the tail end of the Genesis/Mega Drive. I dream about the (completely unlikely) scenario where Sega could've stuck the landing with the 32X and held off on a new system until 1997 or 1998. The mid-generation hardware refreshes of today probably weren't possible back then.
