Need a good free alternative to 7zip

Yesterday Avast suddenly decided 7zip had malware in it, been using the same 7zip for ages with no problems, so it quaranteed it & now I cant even instal a fresh version. Kind of freacking out that I can no longer acess many things & WinRar while a possible alternative needs to be paid for & I dont like that, any suggestions for a good one to use guys?
