Re: Celebrity Death Thread
This moment is probably why My Soul flopped. Although it was actually a good album so hopefully people give it another chance. It was just kind of a dark album released the same month as Puff Daddy's.

I've still got that CD. It was from one of those get a shitload of CDs for a dollar then buy 2 CDs a month for a year or 2 type of deals. The 2 CDs a month were still a fair bit cheaper than they were at Australian retail, so it wasn't a bad deal unless you couldn't find something you wanted. It might have been one of the last CDs I got from it.

Re: Celebrity Death Thread
I used to be in Columbia House. It sucked when you had to pay more than even mall prices for a CD after the deal. Also once I forgot to send the card in saying I didn't want the CD of the month so got stuck paying over $20 for Hootie & The Blowfish's Fairweather Johnson, which wasn't worth 20 cents.

Ouch, that's not good.
At the time CDs were A$30 in Australia, and the place I joined they were around $15/$20, so pretty good.
