Tears For Fears are trending on Twitter, which is a bit weird, even though they do have a new album out. It turns out that Songs From The Chair was released on this day in 1985.

The album went to number 1 in the US, 2 in the UK and 5 in Australia. It spawned the hit singles Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Head Over Heels, Mothers Talk and I Believe.

No thank you.
The arrival of the show is a dream come true for executive producer Ben Silverman. He said in a statement: “I’ve spent 20 years trying to pursue this. I just love the format.”

He added: “When America is more fractionalised than ever and we are dealing with so many issues that divide us, the one [thing] that truly unites us is our culture.”
Haha he can rightfully fuck off, this is so dumb. Maybe I've misunderstood Eurovision, but I didn't think it's a platform for has-beens.

Usually it's Idol style people making very cheesy music but sometimes they will have older artists in it. Katrina & The Waves won it in 1997 for the UK.

Australia has sent established artists that haven't had hits for a while. Not Michael Bolton or Jewel level stars though.

AleXa, appearing for Oklahoma is an established K-pop artist in South Korea.
Okay, I do like that "country music only" Oklahoma is going to have a K-Pop song for their entry. They're going to love that.

Excuse me, this is Color Me Badd slander and I won't stand for it. They are obviously the greatest group to come from Oklahoma City.

They had the best break up in music when one guy sucker punched another during their concert.

Seeing Bryan Abrams sing live in person was one of the most transformative events of my life. I thought that Creedence Clearwater Revisited with writhing grandma groupies at the county fair was shocking, then I Love The 90s pushed this man on stage and told him to sing.

I feel like I bring these guys up too much, but they live rent free in my mind every day.

My only Color Me Bad story is I remember in the mid-2000s a friend of my uncle's said he saw them at a gym when they were touring and he thought it was weird that they wore matching tracksuits to exercise in like an Olympic team.
