If he's selling that at Cage of Death it's going to be weird being on the same show a guy gets super powerbombed on 25 light tubes and still comes back to win his match.

I was at Cage of Death last night. Nobody gave a fuck about the NWA match, not even seeing a NWA title change when Magnus won it. I don't know what Corgan was thinking doing this at a CZW show. The crowd didnt care about Austin Idol either, this just wasn't that kind of crowd. It was a short match in the middle of the show and nobody is even going to remember it because of the big angle at the end of the show with Nick Gage plus the balcony bump.

Maybe they chose to put it on that show because it was the only one that was going to be filmed in front of a decent crowd this weekend? It's about the only reason I can think of to have a traditional wrestling match on a hardcore show.

It wasn't so much that as CZW is like ECW where they've cut back on the violence (except this show which is their Wrestlemania so it was very hardcore). But nobody cared because you had a 50 year old not named John Zandig against a guy people associate with Russo Era TNA. Maybe it would have been over if a CZW guy got the title shot. Like if Space Monkey was there it would have been over because he's over to the point a heel can get heat stomping on his fake tail, which is hilarious. So I think they need to have the champion wrestle someone over in the territory and not just travel with a match because nobody has any idea about their feud anymore than CZW could have sent Rickey Shane Page and Joe Gacy to the NWA Hollywood show and have people watch it cold.

That hat is worse than the one he had on at the CZW show. And that one was rhinestone.

He was still good on the mic even though the fans weren't into him. If he was Magnus's manager doing a senile guy who thinks it's still the 70s gimmick that would actually be entertaining. He could be a little like Tommy Rich in ECW.
