Not happy geelong are on top... We all remember the last time they were on top and all the fans got tattoo's saying they'd be premiers before the final, and then lost...

We'll be down to 4th after this round ends. We've lost 3 of our last 4, the last two were against teams out of the 8 and the other was against Freo who are only just in. We only just beat the Dogs who are bottom 6. We have a massive injury list (Beams, Adams, Howe, Langdon, Dunn, Reid, Wells etc. plus Stephenson suspended for 10 weeks) and we play West Coast, GWS & Richmond over the next 3 weeks.

Even though we only lost by 4 points tonight, we were bad. We couldn't attack and our skills were terrible. Last week North pumped us by 50+ points and we had our lowest score in 24 years. Tonight we only got 9 goals.

Last game I actually went to was with my Uncle (the one trying to get me into it) and my dad.

I got messages from family tonight. (airport west/Essendon side) talking shit. And they stopped around half time...
It's like Anzac day for the past 3 years.. No matter how much of a chance the bombers think they have, They don't have an ACTUAL chance in hell of winning...

for 6 years I've been hearing a lot of shit... and then it's always just stopped and been silent till the next big game.

so I caught the end of the pies-bulldogs game.. It was eerie to say the least.
seeing an empty docklands stadium was something I've not seen in 20 years. (got a tour before it opened)

seeing all the empty seats though, I'm guessing each player made about $20 tonight? because at least 1.6 million dollars would have been lost in tickets.

You get used to the lack of crowd sound after a while and just notice the players talking.

They're still making the same amount of money, for now.
