https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/confirmed-the-full-gta-v-package-is-10-on-ps5-and-30-on-xbox-series-x/

The description for the Xbox Series X version of the Story Mode reads: “Requires access to Grand Theft Auto Online for Xbox Series X|S.”

To summarise:
  • GTA V Story Mode’s full price is £34.99 / $39.99 on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
  • PS5 owners with PS Plus can get both Story Mode and GTA Online for £8.75 / $9.99, or just GTA Online for free.
  • Xbox Series X/S owners can get Story Mode for £17.49 / $19.99 and GTA Online for £8.99 / $9.99
  • However, it appears that Story Mode may require GTA Online on Xbox, so the total cost would be £26.48 / $29.98
Edit: Apparently it will be £17.49 / $19.99 for story mode and online for Xbox.

He's been playing around with the settings. It does look better than the old PS4/X1 version. The framerate isn't at a stable 60 when driving. There's hardly any traffic.

Rightfully receiving a critical mauling at launch, we thought it was high time that we revisited the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition - and we're glad that we did. While artistic decisions are still somewhat questionable, there's not doubt at all that we've seen genuine improvements across the board. Oliver Mackenzie has the story.

It is crazy how long they have milked GTA V. I mean I get it I don't blame them. If I had something that was still making that much money I'd do the same. But the game is almost a decade old. It came out in 2013 for consoles that were released in 2005 and 2006! It is just kind of wild that you can play GTA V on hardware that came out 17 years ago.

I wouldn't mind a GTA4 remaster but I'd also just be happy if they patched the XSX version to make it a bit better.

I've been playing Red Dead Redemption 1 a bit recently.

It does not need a remake. Give me my fucking GTA 6 ALREADY. It's been 9 fucking years.

RDR1 still looks good. Playing San Andreas on Xbox One gave me a headache, though.

Also, isn't Vice City a "fictionalized version of Miami?"
