Lobster's Big Game Collection: A Zoid-tastic tale told by ChatGPT

Post by Roofus »

Dr. Zoidberg was a sentient lobster who lived in a vast underwater cave system in the Southern Hemisphere. He had always been a bit of an oddball, preferring the company of his extensive video game collection to the other denizens of the deep. In fact, his collection was so vast that it was said to be the largest in the entire Southern Hemisphere.

Dr. Zoidberg had a passion for collecting all kinds of video games, from the newest and most cutting-edge titles to obscure and forgotten classics. He would spend hours scouring the ocean floor for lost treasures and rare finds, adding them to his already massive collection.

One day, a group of curious sea creatures swam by Dr. Zoidberg's cave and noticed the large collection of video games on display. They were amazed at the sheer number of games that he had amassed and asked him about it.

Dr. Zoidberg was only too happy to show off his collection and began to give the creatures a tour of his underwater arcade. He showed them all kinds of games, from the earliest consoles to the most modern, and even let them play some of their favorites.

As the creatures played, they began to notice something peculiar about the games. They seemed to be imbued with a strange energy, almost as if they were alive. They asked Dr. Zoidberg about it, and he explained that he had spent so much time with his collection that he had somehow imbued it with a kind of sentience.

The creatures were fascinated by this and asked if they could take some of the games with them to study. Dr. Zoidberg agreed, and soon the creatures were able to replicate the sentience in their own games, creating a whole new genre of video games.

Dr. Zoidberg was thrilled that his passion for collecting had led to such a groundbreaking discovery. He continued to add to his collection, always on the lookout for the next great find, and his reputation as the owner of the largest video game collection in the Southern Hemisphere only grew.

And so, Dr. Zoidberg continued to live out his days in his underwater cave, surrounded by his beloved video games and the strange energy that he had imbued them with. He knew that his collection would always be his greatest achievement, and that he had left a lasting legacy in the world of gaming.

I feel like AI missed 3 very clearly obvious gaming studio puns it could have made there alone.

Unless the AI was being subtle. But I am sure if a human (especially, a human as clever as Roofus) wrote this story, regarding a large collection of games, they would have known and made the nod to the studios a little more clear.

Kindly tell the AI to spin me a yarn about the studios Rareware, Treasure and Ocean Software to make up for this huge missed opportunity.

It will also help train the AI to make gaming studio puns in the future, should it need to make them for other people's wacky stories for some reason.

We're this close to AI taking over the Zoidbergs game collection is so big thread, and then I can stop thinking of examples and retire to enjoy the zany things AI comes up with, but they need a little more knowledge of games first.
It's our duty as the humans to train them!

That story is exactly how I envisioned Zoidberg’s life.
