Very cool. A bit pricey but that's to be expected.

Why are all ‘build your own’ handhelds always the Gameboy layout? That’s the most uncomfortable way to play a handheld, yet they all go towards that design. I’m tempted to get a kit and just 3D print a better case for it.

I suppose the DMG-01 is a common ancestor or baseline measurement for the handheld scene with a little (or a lot) of nostalgia sprinkled on top. Maybe it helped that there were a ton of DMG-01 systems to scavenge in the beginning. And functionally, it's the brickiest and thickest handheld system which allows for the hacking scene to cram components inside.

I have stubby little sausage fingers, so anything designed from the Fischer-Price school of design tends to benefit me :olol: I'd love to see a G-Boy fitted with a single-board computer for better battery life because of those sweet back triggers. Having a Wii attached to a 2-hour battery doesn't appeal to me.

It's cool, but pointless. :olol:

Yeah I saw it too. Sound issues and button config problems. They could be fixed up though.

Oh Atari, some things just never change. It looks like the cheapest Lynx I can buy on eBay is $100US, which seems expensive. Why not release a classic console version?

This is a PROTOTYPE of the GPD Win Max running Red Dead Redemption 2 at 640x400

- Currently DX12 runs the only "stable" version
- Vulkan runs at a better performance, but currently crashes
- 640x400
- 23-30fps (averaging 25fps)
- Most settings at "low"
