There have been 38 mass shootings in America in 23 days. Yet they continue to sell guns and facilitate the means for this suburban civil war. I question the concept of humans being an intelligent species.

There was at least one other school shooting by a female, who did it with a male accomplice. Mass shootings in general are about 97% done by males.

I wake up to news of another shooting, which normally wouldn't be news as this is a humdrum, regular shooting that happens all the time.
This one seems good in comparison because small children weren't shot at this one.

But I finally understand why the police waited like an hour to do anything at the Texas one.
By sitting around for an hour, they were hoping to take care of multiple mass shootings on a single callout therefore reducing the emissions from going all the way back to the station and all the paperwork that multiple callouts would need. By waiting to see what happened, it's likely that a second shooting would have happened at a close location, or even a second shooter at the same location and were simply trying to save the planet... They are heroes after all!

And by Texas one I mean specifically: May 24, 2022, Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. As opposed to the others happening that day in other parts of Texas.
